Plans are coming together!

Plans are coming together!

We’re very excited to be progressing the plans for the building itself. All the facilities we want to include in Alexandra House can be accommodated on the ground floor, surrounding beautiful, well planned, sensory gardens. It is wonderful to have talented professionals working for us, to help us make our dreams a reality. We look forward to having more progress to share as our plans develop. Anything you can do to help is greatly appreciated, a donation, an offer of practical help, or simply talking about us so that our profile grows in the local community. Get in touch to find out more!

Have you seen our new fundraising thermometer!?

We want you to see how much money you’re raising for us, and this is the best way to keep up with our progress!  Take a look at our ‘Support Us’ page to see how we’re doing, and we’ll be updating our Facebook page too.

Shortly we’ll launch our online fundraising page, once our Gift Aid registration is received.  In the meantime, please contact Rachael for details of how to donate directly to our AHoJ account.

Don’t forget, we publish weekly fundraising updates on our Facebook page.  Invite your friends to ‘like’ our page too, so we can spread the word!

Got Royal Wedding Fever?

Got Royal Wedding Fever?

Did you know Ian was a Royal Butler?! He has some wonderful stories about his time as a Royal Footman and then as a Butler within the Royal Household.

Come, and bring your friends, to the Littlebury Hotel, Bicester, on 12 May at 12.30pm to hear Ian’s fascinating account of his career working for the best known family in the country.

The event is hosted by the Lord Mayor of Bicester and we are delighted to announce that it will be sponsored by Bicester Village.

We are excited by this opportunity to raise more money towards our target, and hope that there will be a great turnout from our local community.  Thanks to the Oxford Mail for raising the profile of the event too, by running a short story on it recently – read it here.

Tickets are £15 (price includes refreshments) and are available in store at Coles Books and by telephone from Bicester Town Council on 01869 252915.

We look forward to seeing you there!
