We’re heartbroken to tell you that the inspiration for Alexandra House of Joy,

Alexandra Scott-Hunter passed peacefully away March 26th in Sobell House, Oxford.

Much loved and deeply respected, a truly beautiful and inspirational lady.

Our thoughts, prayers and love go out to all her family and friends. 

Let us all pull together and support this amazing charity in Alexandra’s name.

Creating a sanctuary where her friends and their friends can feel safe,

secure, loved, valued and respected as they deserve to be.

We’ve Been Busy Busy Busy…

It all been happening at Alexandra House of Joy.

Bicester Ladies Circle have taken us on for fundraising, Thankyou Ladies.

Thanks to The BMC Wives Club and The FIRS Club at Cropredy for their donations.

Thanks also to The Wychwood School for Girls, who have adopted us as their charity.

Jo Hawes ran a cake sale at Chesterton Primary school raising £313.30p, Thankyou Jo.

Rachael met with Reverend Verena Breed from the leadership team of Bicester Churches to encourage the local churches to support the charity, all have agreed. Watch this space.

Rachael also had a meeting with Jason Sleighmaker who is Deputy Mayor in waiting, they had a very good discussion about rallying Bicester to support the charity. Jason is arranging a meeting with Bicester Vision.
